- Worked closely with clients, editorial, photo research, and production departments to translate design prototypes into final products for print and web sites. Clients include Glencoe/McGraw-Hill, Harcourt Educational Publishing, The JASON Project, National Geographic School Publishing, Prentice Hall, Scott Foresman, and The Boonshoft Museum of Discovery.
- Lead designer on the The JASON Project (www.jason.org) web site redesign, winner of the 2008 SIIA CODiE award for “Best Online Instructional Solution.” Designed Operation: Monster Storms, a middle school science curriculum. Responsible for designing the look and layout of the web and print products to ensure consistent branding and instructional interface between both.
- Designed and developed web sites for the Mazer Corporation (www.mazer.com), TGM-Mazer Horticultural Services (www.tgm.mazer.com), and the in-house stock photography site mazerstock (www.mazerstock.com).
- Lead designer for Glencoe/McGraw-Hill’s technology textbooks, Automotive Excellence Volume I & II, High-Performance Manufacturing: Portable Production Skills, and Technology: Engineering & Design.
- Created multiple automated workflows used by the design, imaging, production, and art research departments using AppleScript to integrate applications and data to produce documents with InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop and Microsoft Excel, which resulted in a 50%–75% time savings on most tasks.
